Secretary of State
Secretary of State provides information on obtaining driver education and licensing, vehicle registration, Michigan safety codes, voter registration and election information, as well as updating residential information. Secretary of State Offices also have notary public officers on hand to notarize documents.

The U.S. Social Security Administration website provides information on how to apply for disability benefits, retirement benefits and how to apply for a Social Security card.

The Social Security and Supplemental Security Income Disability Programs (Benefits for People with Disabilities)
The Social Security and Supplemental Security Income disability programs are the largest of several Federal programs that provide assistance to people with disabilities. Both programs are administered by the Social Security Administration and only individuals who have a disability and meet medical criteria may qualify for benefits under either program.
Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
LIHEAP is federal money given to each state to assist low-income families with energy costs.
In Michigan, the LIHEAP block grant is used for the following programs:
